The 1% Club for Couples
The 1% Club for Couples is a private, full-day THINKshop™ designed to help you and your spouse plan your future. A strong family depends on a strong marriage. And a strong marriage begins with two strong individuals. That’s the 1% philosophy. Setting goals and planning as a couple strengthens communication and builds intimacy. Couples who plan together are more supportive of each other and proactive in every aspect of life. Planning together will help you design a more balanced, simplified and enriching life together.
Purpose of the Couples Program
- To help husband and wife “get on the same page”.
- To clarify and establish marriage and family goals.
- To enhance communication about key issues.
- To provide a structure and system to lead and manage an On Purpose Family.
Format
Couples meet privately with Coach Tommy Newberry for a full-day, interactive THINKshop™ to complete the core curriculum and planning. This THINKshop™ involves discussion, personal coaching, lesson presentation, focusing exercises and the creation of preliminary plans. Learn how you can design a more balanced, simplified, and enriching life together. After the full-day, couples meet with Tommy for three, 90-minute follow-up sessions spaced approximately 30 days, 90 days, and 180 days after THINKshop™ number one. Specific assignments are completed in between THINKshops™. Tommy Newberry is available via phone and e-mail for questions and other assistance during the process for 3 months following the final THINKshop™. All sessions are completely confidential. Participation at the Couples Planning Retreat at Blackberry Farm is recommended for maximum benefit.
Content
Couples are lead and coached through a variety of exercises designed to provide maximum clarity about key issues involving themselves, their marriage, and their family life. Individual and family Mission Statements will be completed and a series of planning checklists will be introduced along with The Family Coach 12-Month Focusing System. The curriculum is divided into three segments: self-management, marriage management, and family management.

The fee for this program is $10,500 with 50% payable upon confirmation of first appointment and the balance due prior to second appointment.
